Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the website located at hoard.fm, together with the Hoard app and any related services (the “Website”). “Hoard,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Website.

By creating a Hoard account or otherwise using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hoard.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hoard. If you’re under 18, you should only use Hoard with a parent or guardian’s permission. By using Hoard, you’re confirming you meet this requirement.

You sign in to Hoard with Google — there’s no separate Hoard password to manage. You’re responsible for whatever happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. Let us know at hoardfm@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

Hoard is a place to:

• Track a personal record collection, and discover new albums pulled from third-party music databases (like iTunes and Last.fm).
• Follow other collectors, and like or comment on what they add.
• List records you own for sale, and message with other users about a listing or directly.
• Optionally share a general location (city/region) so nearby collectors are easier to find.

Hoard’s marketplace is currently a place to list items and message other users about them — Hoard doesn’t process payments or handle shipping today. If you buy or sell through Hoard, you and the other person are responsible for agreeing on payment, shipping, and the item’s condition yourselves, entirely outside the app.

We may add in-app payments in the future. If we do, additional terms will apply to those transactions and we’ll ask you to agree to them separately before you can use them.

Hoard doesn’t inspect listings, verify sellers, or guarantee that an item matches its description. Use good judgment, and please report anything that looks like a scam to hoardfm@gmail.com.

You keep ownership of what you post — your collection, comments, listing descriptions and photos, and messages. By posting it, you give Hoard permission to store it and show it to other users as the app is designed to (for example, showing your listing to buyers, or your comment to your followers).

You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t post anything illegal, counterfeit, infringing, harassing, or that isn’t actually yours to sell.

The Website — including its design, logo, wordmark, text, graphics, and underlying software — is the property of Hoard and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. © 2026 Hoard. All rights reserved.

Using Hoard doesn’t give you any ownership in the Website or its content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Website without our permission, beyond what’s needed for your own normal use of the app (like viewing pages in your browser). This doesn’t affect your ownership of what you post — see “Content you post” above.

Please don’t:

• Scrape, bulk-import, or automate activity against Hoard.
• Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent an item you're selling.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Try to break, probe, or gain unauthorized access to Hoard's systems.

We can suspend or remove accounts that do these things, at our discretion.

Hoard pulls album and artist information from services like iTunes, Last.fm, and Deezer, and (if you share a location) resolves it via OpenStreetMap. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their accuracy or availability.

Hoard is in active development. Features may change, break, or disappear without notice, and we may need to reset or wipe test data. The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and — to the extent the law allows — we’re not liable for any damages arising from your use of it.

You can stop using Hoard at any time — email hoardfm@gmail.com if you’d like your account and data deleted. We may also suspend or terminate access to Hoard, particularly during this testing period.

We may update these terms as Hoard develops. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Hoard after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
